Networking and Events

Exploriem.org holds many networking events annually for our members. Our most recent event was the 2011 Exploriem Scramble and Biz Pitch Event which was held at The Marchwood Golf Club at The Marshes in Ottawa, ON. The day began with a fun filled 9 holes of golf followed by Lunch and the Biz Pitch Event. We had 12 great Start-Ups pitching to our panel of judges and we are looking forward to planning next years event. This years Biz Pitch Winners were in 1st Place, Angella Goran of JokWear Inc, 2nd Place was Jim Cain for Napkyn Inc, and  in 3rd Place was Dana Masters of Tasethisdeal.com.

In February 2011 Exploriem held the 2011 Bootstrap Awards at the Centurion Centre. We had a record number in attendance and our Trade Show was a success. Thanks to all our sponsers and Congratulations to all nominees and award winners. We look forward to hosting another awards show in 2012 and crowing individuals with the prestigious golden boot.
